Amazing young man

I had the opportunity to work with Ian at Mind Over Eye as my lead for a couple of projects. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable and organized despite hectic schedules and difficult clients. He made sure the artists working for him were well informed and resourced, even when he was not. I would jump at the opportunity to work with him again.

Ian is wonderful to work with! He has superb attention to detail, is fearless in mastering new techniques, and will work tirelessly until the deadline is complete. I would recommend Ian in a heartbeat and will always want him on my team. Plus, he makes a mean cup of tea.

[Update] I had the pleasure of working with Ian again on Black Sails, and I am yet again impressed with him! His nuke scripts are the most clean, beautifully organized that I've ever seen. Visually they are so appealing, they are works of art unto themselves. His scripts constantly rendered faster than others', which means not only were his comps beautiful, but so were the implementation. Hard to do, and yet he did it! I hope to follow in his script organizing methodology.

Ian produces quality photos and portrays his subjects in interesting and creative ways. I look forward to working with him again.

Ian is an amazing cinematographer/photographer with a keen eye for detail. His creative ideas have produced works of amazing quality that will only get better. Can't wait to see what comes next!

Ian Blewitt is a dynamo. There is very little that he can't do. From pre-pro to post, I have witnessed Ian's hard work and skill. An incredible artist, Ian is always humble with his work and is the last person to boast. He is very professional and literate with post production software and production hardware. No matter his position, he is always a positive addition to any team. His skill is there, but his positive attitude is something that you need to witness for yourself.

Ian has always been a pleasure to work with. The great attitude and knowledge that he bringst to set and into the edit room is a great asset to have on any production. Not only is he well versed in multiple aspects of production from shooting to VFX, he also maintains a great understanding of communication and values collaboration. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with Ian is at a great advantage, and the work that he produces will demonstrate that easily.

Its been a delight to have worked with Ian, a true team player, responsible & with little to no supervision, Ian have tackled many extremely difficult and most cases impossible shots and have always finished on time & on budget. His work ethic is more evident in his body of work, quality to the utmost perfection. With the long arduous hours spent meticulously breaking down & fixing shots, Ian's positive personality & easy going attitude, enlightens the team with a few casual jokes & laughter. Last but not the very least Ian's comprehensive knowledge of compositing & paint is expansive, his extensive knowledge of camera, color & layout is limitless, as his fellow colleagues inspired & awed by his creative & technical talent. Ian is a work force, when it comes to crunch time, he has always gone beyond the call of duty and not afraid to opt the extra hours to get the job done.

Ian is more than a former student. Ian is a friend and some one I would love to work with again. His skills and talents greatly out weigh his age and experience. I would have Ian on my crew tomorrow.

Ian can best be described as a perfectionist in all aspects and all the shots he takes to final, with out a doubt, reflect that. His dedication, passion, and skill are very inspiring and motivating to myself and everyone around him. Ian is a must have on any project.
